Ρωσία: Ισχυρός σεισμός 7 Ρίχτερ στη χερσόνησο Καμτσάτκα

Ισχυρή σεισμική δόνηση μεγέθους 7 βαθμών σημειώθηκε σήμερα, Παρασκευή 16 Οκτωβρίου, στη χερσόνησο Καμτσάτκα, στη ρωσική Άπω Ανατολή.

Σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία του Ευρωπαϊκού-Μεσογειακού Σεισμολογικού Κέντρου (EMSC), το εστιακό βάθος του σεισμού υπολογίζεται στα 140 χιλιόμετρα.

🔴 M6.9 earthquake, 76 km northeast of Ozernovskiy, Kamchatka Krai, Russia.

At 143 km deep, this was an intermediate-depth quake. Shaking at the surface is typically moderated compared with a shallow event of the same magnitude, though it may still be widely felt.

Kamchatka has recorded 57 earthquakes in the past 30 days. This is the region’s largest in that period.
